Chauffeur travel for the golf day

A well-planned golf journey begins before the car reaches the first doorway. FCET records whether the day is a member's guest invitation, society outing, corporate programme or tournament visit, then works back from the clubhouse arrival that matters. Every home, hotel or Heathrow collection is named, together with the player count, club sets, trolleys, overnight cases and presentation material. That complete load determines which fleet class can be assessed. The chauffeur assists with the declared bags and keeps the travelling party together through each pickup.

At the club, the postal address is only the start of the instruction. The driver follows the named approach and any current organiser or club direction, then uses the clubhouse forecourt where the club directs for the passenger handover. An active forecourt is not treated as a waiting space. The later movement is agreed separately: retain the car for a defined itinerary and waiting arrangement, or book a return collection around a realistic finish, meal or prize presentation. One lead player confirms when the party and clubs are ready.
