01 — Making an arrangement
Booking and confirmation
A quote or enquiry is not a booking until First Class Executive Travel confirms it. Please check the confirmation carefully, including the passenger name, collection time, complete addresses, stops, flight details, vehicle class, payment method and contact number. Tell us promptly if anything is wrong.
The person making the booking must have authority to provide the passenger details and accept these terms for the arrangement. Availability can change until confirmation. We may contact the booker or passenger where this is reasonably needed to clarify an instruction, manage the collection or complete the journey.
02 — The agreed itinerary
What your fixed price covers
The price confirmed at booking is fixed for the agreed itinerary. It covers the collection, destination and any stops, timing or waiting arrangements recorded in that confirmation. It does not automatically cover instructions added later or details that were not supplied when the price was agreed.
A change to the route, stops, waiting requirement or journey time may be re-quoted before it is accepted. A 20% night-time uplift applies to pick-ups from 22:30 to 05:59. Airport charges and the London Congestion Charge are passed through where applicable, as described when the booking price is shown or confirmed.
03 — At the meeting point
Waiting time and delays
Airport collections include 15 minutes of complimentary waiting. Flight tracking helps us respond to an early or delayed landing, but passengers should follow the meeting instruction and contact us if baggage, border control or another issue delays their arrival at the agreed point.
For non-airport collections, and once complimentary airport waiting has ended, additional waiting may affect the agreed scope and price. We will explain any charge that applies. Road conditions, closures, security controls and events can affect travel time, so a requested arrival time is a planning instruction rather than a guarantee against circumstances outside reasonable control.
04 — If plans change
Changes and cancellations
Please telephone FCET as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel a booking, giving reasonable notice before the collection time. A message is not treated as received merely because it was sent; urgent changes should be confirmed with the office.
Cancellation terms are confirmed on your booking confirmation. We do not add a different refund timetable here. If FCET must cancel because we cannot safely or lawfully provide the journey, we will contact the booker and explain the available next steps, including the treatment of any payment already made.
05 — During travel
Passenger conduct and luggage
Passengers must treat the chauffeur, vehicle and other people respectfully, wear seat belts where required and follow reasonable safety instructions. Smoking, unlawful conduct, threatening behaviour and deliberate damage are not permitted. We may refuse or end a journey where continuing would be unsafe or unlawful.
Tell us the passenger count, luggage and any unusual items before selecting a vehicle. The chauffeur may refuse an item that cannot be carried safely or lawfully. The booker may be responsible for reasonable cleaning or repair costs caused by a passenger beyond ordinary use, with supporting information provided.
06 — Our responsibility
Liability in plain terms
FCET will provide the confirmed service with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that the law does not allow us to exclude, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.
We are not responsible for a loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the booking was made or for delay caused by matters outside reasonable control, such as severe disruption, closures or official restrictions. We do not accept responsibility for business losses under a consumer booking. Please keep personal belongings with you and tell us promptly about a suspected loss.
07 — Payment and concerns
Paying and raising a problem
The confirmation states how and when payment is due. Online card payments are handled by Stripe; FCET does not store card numbers. If a payment fails or remains incomplete, the booking is not treated as paid merely because payment details were entered.
If something is not right, contact FCET promptly with the booking reference and the details needed to investigate. We will consider the confirmation, communications and circumstances of the journey. Raising the issue early gives us the best opportunity to understand it and, where possible, put it right.
08 — The legal framework
Governing law
These terms and any dispute or claim connected with them are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, although a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom may also have rights to bring a claim in the courts where they live.
If one part of these terms cannot be enforced, the remaining parts continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right does not by itself waive that right. No person other than the booker, the passenger where applicable and FCET has a right to enforce these terms unless the law says otherwise.
