02 — The station handover
Where the chauffeur meets you at King's Cross
Your meeting point is inside the main departures concourse at the agreed information point. The relevant route from the train is the Euston Road or King's Boulevard exit named in the booking. The passenger receives the concourse landmark, chauffeur contact and vehicle details before arrival. The chauffeur does not wait in a taxi-only rank or an active loading lane; if the kerb is controlled, the passenger and chauffeur meet first and walk to the car together. King's Cross is the London terminus for East Coast Main Line services.
For a departure, the car uses the signed passenger set-down on the Pancras Road side. The final approach is via Pancras Road, keeping the King's Cross and St Pancras doors distinct. The chauffeur unloads the booked luggage at a permitted place and leaves the stopping area promptly. The entrance opens into the main concourse facing the platform gatelines. Station signs, road restrictions and staff directions govern the exact point available on the day, so a temporary closure may move the handover to a nearby lawful bay.
