01 — Arrival plan

The approach and set-down for Windsor Castle

Windsor Castle is a Royal Collection Trust visitor destination in the centre of Windsor. The itinerary names the castle and follows the town-centre traffic pattern in use that day. The chauffeur uses an agreed lawful central Windsor passenger point outside the castle boundary.

The booking records every collection, passenger, visit date and one travelling mobile. We plan against the times on your ticket, allowing for loading, traffic and the walk from set-down. Admission remains separate from the chauffeur booking.

03 — During the visit

Retained car or drop and collect at Windsor Castle

The visit is anchored to the admission shown on the passenger's confirmation, with time allowed to walk from set-down and regroup afterwards. A retained car covers a defined waiting itinerary; drop and collect creates two movements. Neither assumes waiting at the visitor entrance.

Pushchairs and day bags are counted before vehicle selection; hotel luggage is best kept in a retained or returning car rather than treated as attraction storage. Passengers look after items taken inside. Collection is confirmed at the same practical town-centre reference or another clearly messaged point once the party is together.

05 — The complete load

Day bags and onward luggage travel together

Passenger numbers, occupied child seats, folded pushchairs, mobility equipment, shopping and hotel luggage are assessed as one load. FCET confirms the fleet class against what will actually be in the vehicle on the fullest movement.
