01 — School chauffeur service
Clear details for every collection
A school journey should identify the child or family group, collection door, correct school entrance, required arrival and the adults authorised to change the plan. We also record which contact receives updates and who is expected at the destination handover. DBS-checked chauffeurs form part of the documented service standard. The wider conduct standard covers punctuality, discretion, professional presentation and considerate assistance, giving families a clear basis for discussing the practical arrangements before travel begins.
Regular bookings can follow a repeated weekday pattern, but each date still needs a current instruction. Term changes, clubs, fixtures, half days and different collection adults should be communicated rather than assumed from the previous journey. Families may request the same chauffeur for continuity. We record that preference and confirm each allocation through the booking process; a familiar-driver request should not replace the passenger names, authorised contacts or handover details for the day.
02 — From enquiry to arrival
How a school and family chauffeur travel booking runs
- Record the dated journey, passengers and authorised guardian contact.
- Confirm the collection door and correct school or terminal entrance.
- Add child-seat, pushchair, sports bag and instrument requirements.
- Allocate the suitable class and issue the current handover instruction.
- Send any approved change through the agreed family contact.

03 — Boarding-school travel
Terms, exeats and station or airport connections
Term openings, closures and exeats can create concentrated travel around boarding schools. We record the published release or reporting time, house or reception instruction, luggage list and onward train or flight so the road leg is planned against the full connection. Families at schools such as Wellington College, Bradfield College and Pangbourne College are within easy reach of our Winnersh base. The booking should use the exact campus entrance or collection direction supplied by the school.
Child seats and booster seats are available on request. We confirm each child's age and the seating requirement when booking, allowing the team to settle the arrangement before vehicle allocation and collection. Pushchairs, suitcases, sports bags and musical instruments all affect the usable space. XL Class, represented by the Mercedes V-Class, can suit a family or small group, while another fleet class may fit a smaller party with a lighter load.

05 — Service in motion
Every handover keeps its named adults
The journey records the parent or guardian contact, passenger names, precise entrances and the adult expected at the destination, with seating requested before allocation.
06 — Family airport journeys
From the home or school gate to the terminal
An airport departure is timed from the terminal arrival the family needs, then worked back through loading, any additional pickup and the road allowance. We include the airline, terminal, cases, pushchair and child-seat request in the same booking. For an arrival, flight tracking supports the collection plan when landing changes, and airport meet and greet with a name board creates a defined public contact. The onward address and receiving adult should be confirmed before the return journey starts.
We record the parent or guardian contact, passenger names, all addresses, dates and the person expected at each handover. If a child will travel without their parent in the car, raise that detail during the enquiry so the proposed arrangement can be reviewed in advance. Changes should come from the agreed authorised contact and be shared as early as possible. The journey cost is confirmed at booking after the route, schedule, vehicle class, seating request and luggage have been considered together.
