01 — Hourly chauffeur hire

How a driver-at-disposal booking works

Instead of booking unrelated transfers, you reserve a chauffeur and vehicle for an agreed period. We record the opening collection, expected finish and known stops, then use that outline to assess whether the available time is practical for the places you want to visit. Flexibility still benefits from a framework. Let us know which appointments are fixed, which calls can move and where the day is likely to end, so the chauffeur understands the priorities if traffic or a longer stop changes the order.

A day may start with collection from a Berkshire home, continue through meetings or personal appointments, pause for lunch and finish at a hotel or station. The chauffeur follows the booked itinerary and uses the agreed contact route when the next movement needs confirming. During longer appointments, the waiting or repositioning arrangement depends on local restrictions and the next task. The car may not always be able to remain directly outside, so the passenger and chauffeur agree a suitable collection point before parting.

03 — London chauffeur by the hour

Meetings and multi-stop London days

London assignments work most smoothly when postcodes are supplemented with building names and preferred entrances. A diary spanning the City, Mayfair and west London needs realistic travel allowances, even when the distance between two appointments appears short on a map. If a meeting overruns, the remaining sequence can be reviewed against the commitments that cannot move. This is particularly useful when the final leg connects with a restaurant reservation, theatre admission, mainline train or airport departure.

For a shopping day, we record the districts or stores and whether purchases will add significantly to the load. That helps determine cabin and luggage space before departure and prevents a late discovery that the chosen vehicle is unsuitable. Dining travel can be included within a wider booking, with the return collection set for a sensible point near the restaurant. If the finishing time is uncertain, we agree how much notice the chauffeur needs before the passenger is ready to leave.

The cabin and boot serve the whole day

Known appointments, likely purchases, carried luggage and the finishing point are reviewed together so the selected class remains suitable as the itinerary develops.

06 — Executive car for a day

Choosing space for passengers and luggage

The appropriate class depends on the number travelling, the desired cabin and everything carried between stops. Business, Business Estate, XL, First and SUV fleet classes provide different combinations of seating, refinement and load space. An estate may suit a day with cases or purchases, while XL can serve a larger party. First Class is an option when a more refined rear cabin is the priority; the booking team can compare the practical fit of the available classes.

The minimum booking is confirmed at booking because the viable arrangement depends on the date, starting point and scope of the assignment. We do not state a universal number of hours where the actual itinerary needs to be understood first. We record the passenger count, collection address, earliest fixed appointment, proposed stops and likely finish. FCET is based in Winnersh, Berkshire, and the journey cost is confirmed once the requested duration, route and vehicle have been reviewed.
